The Palm Springs Air Museum houses one of the nation's largest collection of World War II flying aircraft displayed in modern, well lighted, air-conditioned and clean hangars. Our Buddy Rodgers Theater shows daily documentaries about aviation in the military with an emphasis on World War II. In addition to planes and historic artifacts, the museum is host to a library of 6300 volumes primarily related to aviation and American military history.
Complimenting our extensive displays, the museum sponsors Saturday commemorative educational programs for our visitors and members. These Saturday programs often include demonstration flights of our aircraft. On those days, members and visitors can participate in the sights and sounds of World War II or later conflicts as these programs dictate. See Events above for more information. |
To accomplish our mission, the Palm Springs Air Museum uses the following components of the collection:
Press the play button to the right to view our introductory video Our programs regularly feature flight demonstrations of the Museum's collection, visiting historic planes, and visiting contemporary aircraft of the US military and neighboring nations. Click on Events above. |
